1. The consequences of a person at his end are unknown
And the soul is undoubtedly accountable for what it has reaped

2. O soul, repent, for the home of vanity is transient
And it is certainly not created for the self

3. Every soul travels towards another
Yet each carries on the nape of its neck what it has sown

4. I see souls cleansed of sins
But my soul remains shackled by sins

5. I cannot absolve my soul of its waywardness
As if it is washed with the turbid water of ignorance

6. Oh, if only I knew, does my heart speak to me
Of repentance, accepted by the Lord of the Throne?

7. That I may enter the door, the door of pardon, clothed
In robes of grace covering my disgraces

8. That I may live contentedly and serenely at leisure
With my life fortunately connected to goodness

9. That I may see my family and children prosperous
With each attaining their hopes from their Lord

10. That I may see pardon coupled with well-being
And my life secured with integrity and honor

11. O Lord, fulfill my hope for the sake of the Chosen One
For Your blessings are bestowed on the desperate
