1. I come to you, O Imam, and to you I complain
Of people who have wronged me and acted unjustly

2. I have no refuge but your support
I hope through you I find deliverance from their tyranny

3. I beg but a glance from your abundant grace
For without you I have no patience or solace

4. Save me from these terrors, I implore
A stranger, and strangers find refuge through you
