1. My God, I offer abundant thanks and praise
For the blessing of Islam, most noble gain

2. It is the greatest favor for all who profess God's oneness
Especially with success, knowledge and wealth

3. And health of body and equilibrium of faculties
And beautiful certainty that rooted in the heart

4. These are gifts I cannot adequately thank
Even if I had tongues equal to the stars' number

5. And I have no hope but that I am Muslim
So I see forgiveness for me from Your gifts as slight

6. For Your generosity overflows, Your grace is vast
And I hope for Your pardon, whether I sin or err

7. So I implore Your clemency for many sins
And I ask Your forgiveness, for that is my wish

8. The best intercessor I hope for in my state
Is the Messenger of guidance who made the Law clear

9. Muhammad, sent from the best origin
And most honorable in stating the truth

10. He brought us a radiant Law, luminous
And the best Book that declared good

11. Compassionate, Merciful, intercessor and interceder
Most eloquent, beautiful in face and teeth

12. Through the Chosen One my prayer was answered
For from him the discourse of pardon came whispering

13. So if You pardon my sin, such is Your wont
And if You intend my torment and subjugation, I am not

14. Upon the Chosen One I offer perfect greetings
And utmost submission that multiplies praise
