1. O the generous sea visitor, all grace and kindness come from you,
Your sweet roses are offered to all guests,

2. You are the epitome of generosity and nobility,
Your success protected and intended.

3. Whoever visits your grave sincerely, gains
Good fortune, glory, prosperity, and support,

4. And attains whatever he hopes for,
Returning content with abundant grace.

5. Through you the star of glory ascends its throne,
Shining brightly, envied for its blessings.

6. O Ahmed the Bedouin, helper in time of need,
Your exceptional generosity is renowned and witnessed.

7. O son of the Prophet, count me a branch of your tree,
And a branch is doubtless part of its family.

8. I've come to you with my household and children,
Seeking your compassion, for that is your custom.

9. We've come to the sanctuary, our souls yearning
For acceptance - this secret is sought.

10. Who approaches you with good faith, for him
The banner of might is tied, by the right hand of Yemen.

11. Accept our visit and heed our need,
For your shade extends above all.

12. O pole of the circle of all saints, you are for us
A sword plunging into the hearts of foes.

13. So slay with your sword the tyranny of the hostile horde,
Whose lot is evil, accursed by God through you.

14. You are our leader, yearning our guide,
That day, between us, is a feast,

15. This sanctuary will ever be your refuge,
As long as lightning flashes or wood kindles fire.
