1. O masters in the precincts of ink, they have arrived
Visit the Imam and leave any blame from those who blamed

2. Visit the Imam and say in greeting him
Peace of Allah be upon you, O hero

3. Welcome and hello to those who stayed in his courtyard
Excellent is the coming and excellent is the intention and deed

4. Love of the Imam and the family of the house is obligatory
And from their friendship the bees seek nectar

5. The Chosen one does not ask for a reward or compensation
Except kindness towards relatives, that is the compensation

6. Knowledge is an ocean and this ink is its coast
And all from this ocean of ink draw water

7. Its precincts are the refuge of the weary and their destination
And its grace is abundant and generosity unceasing

8. None who visit it complain of injustice from its caretaker
Visiting it brings fortune and bounty

9. This is the Qurashi, exalted in lineage
The lineage of glory, it is the parable's subject

10. This is the cousin of the Messenger of God, who
Clarified the Shariah and by him the paths are whitened

11. This is the son of Idris, unique in his virtues
By him the Shariah is clarified and by him the paths are whitened

12. Ink of sciences and ocean of knowledge churning over
The plains and mountains all quenched by it

13. The ship of knowledge sailing over its waves
Its sail is the Shariah, there is no might or means

14. It has set sail over the generosity of sciences so
It does not leave its protector and does not move away

15. This is the great dune, the dune of all virtue
Great in station, supported by dew that flows

16. Judge of the Shariah, Lord of opinion and his judgment
To his word of truth the masters first bowed

17. Whoever seeks refuge in his vast protection
Finds aid, rain, and a trusted ally

18. How many kings at his threshold paused
And attained glory when they entered his glory

19. And how many men served this ink
And obtained their aim and connected intentions

20. All gain according to their intention's measure
And the workers gain according to their deed's measure

21. Egypt through him and the house's family ennobled
By them all people journeyed to it

22. O heroic judge, may you attain
Honor this visit of ours, O hero

23. And look upon us with eyes filled with nobility
The noble welcomes his guest's request

24. And look upon the scholars who serve knowledge
For the faith they are bastion and pillar without flaw

25. And extend your hands and shake each one present
For all are loyal to the Shariah and obedient

26. And make, my God, the Commander of the Faithful for us
A pillar to which states submit

27. And make our absence forgiveness and wellness
And a good ending when our term ends
