1. Glory be to your Lord; repent from what you have done
What Allah intends will happen, at dawn and in tumult
2. Will it be blocked while pilgrims proclaim God's greatness there
As they make pilgrimage, glorifying and exalting Him
3. It has not been blocked since Allah made its threshold lowly
And since it was announced the House is open for pilgrimage
4. It guides pilgrims to it, their longing for the House of Allah stirred
As if erased by time, woven of ancient cloth
5. Clear the way there, for its visitors come
And those living there are resolute, stoic men
6. Allah does not block a path the bright moons once followed there
At night, when the valley and hills are dark and foreboding
7. If Allah blocked it one day, then opened it wide
Who would take the path at night, when it was left unguarded?
