And you knew you would be defeated

3. O Buhutiri beware
Of the gabble of anger

4. For you have unleashed in my valley
A flood of insults like raging torrents

5. With what honor will you defend yourself
When the pen has dried from the disgrace

6. By Allah the oath of the truthful
By the grave of Ahmad and the sanctuary

7. And by the right of Ja'far the Imam
The son of Imam Al-Mu'tasim

8. I will make you famous
From Al-Musayliq to Al-‘Alam

9. At Dhi Salam, home of the Arab tents
Where are the meadows and the tents

10. O son of the heavyweight and the trusted
Upon the hearts of the prosperous

11. And upon the little and the big
Among the loyal and the modest

12. With what weapon do you collide
And with what palm do you devour

13. O son of the one who makes lawful for people
Is it chastity or accusation

14. When your sister traveled to the non-Arabs
And your mother's bed is in the dark

15. By the door of your house is a tavern
In his home he is given rule
