1. What thing have you seen more strange than this
If you ponder an hour on time
١. أَيَّ شَيءٍ رَأَيتَ أَعجَبَ مِن ذا
إِن تَفَكَّرتَ ساعَةً في الزَمانِ
2. All things of joy are by weight
And afflictions measured by leaps
٢. كُلُّ شَيءٍ مِنَ السُرورِ بِوَزنٍ
وَالبَلايَا تُكالُ بِالقُفزانِ
