1. A festival renewed, wherein Adnan’s glory
Is restored, as the two revered kings are allies

2. If our two homelands are compared today in one home
Then Arabism is nothing but the union of homelands

3. Their alliance shook the world and gave it good tidings
Of blissful days and eras to come for generations

4. And nothing makes a covenant firmer in its bonds
As two hearts do, when bound by affection

5. Reign in goodness, o you who suffice in his integrity
And justice that he is the second Rightly-Guided

6. Bestow upon Egypt the utmost care, according to
What monuments of reform and urban growth have uttered

7. To the glories that have filled the East with literature
And arts and cultivation of minds and common sense

8. And today, you have redoubled whatever you bestow as a feat
That has exhausted all eloquence, despite its lucidity

9. You have thus opened extraordinarily for Egypt a summit
That gathered the shining of two full moons in one moment

10. Poetry falls short of fulfilling their due right
Even if it were made of pearls and peridot

11. Greetings and welcome to him who dwelling is in the heart
The lofty Arab ruler, eminent and high of station

12. So far, like a star, and amity brings him closer
Conqueror, like a lion, and humanity of a human being

13. Composure, brilliance, openhandedness
With which he honours the hand of generous non-miser

14. Ask the people of Nejd and ask the people of Hejaz about him
You hear the tales of cavaliers and riders' brigades

15. And ask the intelligent ones who have benefited from his
Genius in every sphere and domain

16. How excellent the trustee of God's house who expands it
With righteousness and protects it in piety and faith

17. He provides settlement for his sedentary and nomadic people
How beneficial is justice combined with kindness

18. He built villages on the outskirts of plains to populate them
While none before had cultivated these desolate lands

19. Their dwellers find sustenance wherever they roam
Without worrying they would be preyed on by predators

20. And he extracted riches from the depths of their solidity
To provide for families and from stony interiors

21. In sustenance there is water to quench thirst and nourish
And in it there is water for lights and lamps

22. And God has ennobled water and fire
Whether benefitting or harming mankind, they're the same

23. May your Lord preserve you, o guest who has favoured us
While we remain always eager hosts

24. The countries you rule have such passion for Egypt
Publicly declared and secretly held

25. A passion whose bonds therein are sacred
Fortified by every proof and evidence

26. Has any caravan seen masses who are not joyful?
Delighting without melody or adornments

27. The clan of Saud, they are the prime game that destinies hunted
By God's will, have the pens of Providence inscribed

28. Tablets of Glory lettered and decorated
By King Abdul Aziz with a crown above the title

29. Thus, did the army of Egypt err in greeting
The Lord of legions of footmen and horsemen

30. O masters of Arabs, from esteemed and pure ancestors
Granted leadership or owners of crowns

31. They are united by the Arabic letter ’D’ into one league
Wherein each is for their brother the best helper

32. Is the goal of Arabs other than to protect their glory?
Through solidarity, or to deflect aggression

33. You were not spectating us, while being before our eyes
And how often does an archer hit despite unwillingness!

34. O two lords, we gained from meeting you
A blessing we are too meek to repay with gratitude

35. Live long and prosper; and may your two nations thrive
With what God has granted you of status and kingdom
