In wisdom when he called you Hind

2. He named you with a name that almost
Reached antiquity, so it was renewed

3. You were called the daughters of Arabs from
Old with glory and glorified glory

4. Hind is nothing but a garden
That was a cradle for the most elegant of creations

5. The homeland of visions, the everlasting
And the institute of lights, once

6. For beauty in it a pure place
That gathered its wonders and origin

7. For its suns forever departing
Charming in grace and slumbering place

8. For its stars a commotion that makes
One want life to be gentle

9. For its soil like the breaths
Of heavens, a breeze that blew softly

10. For good there are rivers in it
Flooding for us honey and nectar

11. For the soul in its forests
A journey that climbs the unseen further

12. Misguidance desires it and fears
That there might be guidance so it guides

13. In its air for the soul a soul
That withdrew from he who called it asceticism

14. In its cities they minted the iron
Of swords and innovated sieges

15. Of what resembles eyes
And a glance, an eyelid and limit

16. It is the home of permitted magic
And in its name the redeemed secret

17. Whoever calls Hind means one
Who refined the meanings of poetry to the utmost
