A refuge for the twinkling stars after the twinkle

2. O ancient cedar grove and a shelter
When rangers guard every ferocious beast I hunt

Who has willingly distanced himself from you though remote

4. From a thirsty one nearing death while your water is near
Pilgrims have passed by him but he did not stop for a drink

5. Nothing in deprivation is more bitterly painful
Than withholding affection from one accustomed to it

6. O resting place for my head on your slopes
My burning longing is an ember that has not died out

7. How many times awake or asleep have I seen you
And roamed through you in thought

8. In everything of yours my eyes shine
Beauty - and the beauty of the meadow is the beauty of eternity

9. And in every twist and turn
