1. You have honored your people, O Aqilah Yusuf
This is the testimony of every free and fair man

2. So if a government loves you with its medals
With what good you have offered, it is enough

3. Lebanon knows the right of chivalry
Can Lebanon exist if it does not know?

4. In every position of mercy and kindness
You have fulfilled hopes with the honesty of the position

5. The best generosity is that which flows with dew
From that most chaste and noble heart

6. You have given the husband his right, you have not diminished
Anything from his right and you have not been deviant

7. And you have brought up your children well, protecting them
From the harm of easy and luxurious life

8. You accompanied Yusuf while he is the best role model
In his path for the follower and emulator

9. And you told of your savior in whose shade
The orphan was cared for and the face of the transgressor was disgraced

10. And you spent in charity from the strength
Of thought, effort and hidden righteousness

11. You do not seek reward for what you have offered
Except from Allah the Bountiful, the Guardian
