Over debris you will not achieve glory

22. The most precious inheritance in your hands so take care of it
He who estimated provision avoided loss

23. Our state, our state, we mention it
With souls that bleed for it passionately

24. Mother who gives birth, who buys with wealth and hearts are redeemed
I fear orphanhood upon it, for I see

25. The matter of orphanhood is sweeter than flowers
And you, my nation, I want you

35. So they spread its portico extending
It strove toward its goal with intention

36. Of insistence, until it attained its purpose
By your life, this is a tradition

37. By which past nations were saved when they united
So that our eagerness for survival would refuse

38. That a condition comes upon us and we can't help
Like the remaining ruins upon its structures

39. Neither inhabited nor furnished
I composed my advice out of love for you

40. And had I scattered it, it would not increase love
Its expressions are dewy with my tears

41. Over the rough and meanings more succulent
I sent it with the conscience as it came

42. And I did not strain myself in it out of effort
I care about my homeland, I'm most truthful to it

43. And I don't care about detractors' criticism
