3. A king above the greatest of creations
Exalted by the truth of noble morals

4. He rules people in lands he tended
With his gentle, subtle methods

5. Neither hesitant to call for jihad
Nor to rescue countries by freeing slaves

6. He spends himself and riches generously
To uphold his covenant faithfully

7. In his era rule turned sweet
Though once it was bitter to endure

8. His face always lights up with good news
And his river of generosity flows freely

9. With his call he watered its fertile land
And protected it from excess

10. He brought life back to the barren wasteland
With flowers and leaves

11. Baghdad is now adorned by his bracelets
In addition to her own jewels

12. Every fine art flourished anew there
With an allure of antiquity

13. May God support his rule and protect him
From every plotting enemy
