1. Ali, the exalted eyes of the lofty one look to you
You are the hope of the coming age

2. No flattery can reach a lord
Whose worth transcends the Pleiades

3. The kingdom has been secured in his era
With the best and noblest of sons

4. With the firmest determination in gatherings
Fervent and most eloquent in assemblies

5. The free man whom his Lord adorned
With the finest traits and character

6. What station of guidance and virtue
Where Ali is not the forefront

7. Holding fast to good as long as he could
With no place for evil in his abode

8. His lineage rising with exalted dignity
To the Messenger of Arabs, the Prophet

9. If a people face adversity, by his might
They find refuge from harm in his shelter

10. He does not tire from striving for the sublime
Even if he wished, no weariness would hinder him

11. Honor him in peace, for his is an open hand
That flows towards the needy and helpless

12. Exalt him in war, for he is a commander
Who strikes with wisdom and sharp blades

13. When he marched with the army towards enemies
It was as if two armies marched in formation

14. So O heir in a state
Bound by the revelation descended
