1. O Egypt, may your glory last,
The day of liberation has come to fulfill your promise,

2. The tyranny of the enemy has passed, as if
It was in servitude to your prosperity,

3. They built their strongholds, but
They only built them for your glory,

4. And today their flags over them are lowered,
And the light of your flag is raised,

5. So rejoice, time itself
Has prepared it and promised it with your pact,

6. And the kingdom has returned mightier
Than it was in the days of your ancestors,

7. The foreigner has no authority,
The lair has become the den of your lion,

8. So surrender to your people, O protector,
Their position, and surrender to your soldiers,

9. And rejoice in the days of liberation,
For they are the fruits of your effort.
