To God, and you were entrusted with the pearl of pearls

5. A light carried her to the highest paradise
As the wings of dawn carry the birds

6. So O Lord of the age, grieved by her loss
I fear for you today the upheaval of fate

7. And O most generous of fathers in dutifulness to his child
But duty that the hand of fate disobeyed

8. Are you kinder than the Merciful as a father
Lamenting the joy of life replaced by the sorrows of age?
