10. A gazelle whose mottles were broken
Became like a cat, no mouse did it frighten

11. A camel from severe exhaustion fell
With remnants of its leaves butting a boulder

12. A hedgehog sparked from his thorns
A flame that illuminated colors abundant

13. A scorpion whose head’s tongues
And tail hastened writhing and stinging

14. Lightning flashed to the eye but it
Was only serpents, hissing and coiled

15. Images whose signs of years are unknown
Or a small serpent slithering stealthily

16. And besides that how many views
Reality adorned with illusion it engulfed

17. How many mirages of smoke you imagined
As it pretended upon an elephant massive

18. How many crosses enraged lent
A fang wherewith he assaulted and conquered

19. How many crows appeared fallen
Like shooting stars hurling swift

20. How many eagles dived and soared
Suddenly snatching the hunter bare

21. How many clouds of shining haze
Resembling a water-skin bursting with drops
