1. Move to your new home,
In the prosperity of good omens,
١. صِيرِي إِلَى بَيْتِكِ الْجَدِيدِ
في رَوْنَقِ الطَّالِعِ السَّعِيدِ
2. You have not left a glorious house,
Except for another glorious one.
٢. لَمْ تَتْرُكِي مَنْزِلاً مُجِيداً
إِلاَّ إِلَى مَنْزِلٍ مُجِيدِ
3. What firm and noble father,
Has his daughter leave his eminent palace,
٣. أَيُّ أَبٍ حَازِمٍ نَبِيلٍ
دَرَجَتْ مِنْ قَصْرِهِ الْمُشِيدِ
4. I have sincerely devoted my love for a people,
So I won the sincere beloved.
٤. أَخْلَصْتُ وُدِّي دَهْراً لِقَوْمٍ
فَفُزْتُ بِالْمُخْلِصِ الْوَحِيدِ
5. Talk about Diyab,
In generosity, he is the creator and restorer,
٥. حَدِّثْ بِمَا شِئْتَ عَنْ دِيَابٍ
فِي الْفَضْلِ مِنْ مبْدِيءٍ مُعيدِ
6. About literature, the height of glory,
In status, help, and generosity.
٦. عَنْ أَدَبٍ عَنْ عُلُوِّ كَعْبٍ
فِي الْجَّاهِ عَنْ نَجْدَةٍ وَجُوْدِ
7. How many weak pillars,
Have taken refuge in its strong pillar,
٧. كَمْ مِنْ حُرِيبٍ ضَعِيفِ رِكْنٍ
أَوَى إِلَى رِكْنِهِ الشَّدِيدِ
8. The generosity of the likes of him is little,
Of God's blessings in generosity.
٨. وُجُوْدُ أَمْثَالِهِ قلِيلٌ
مِنْ نِعَمِ اللهِ فِي الوُجُودِ
9. The names of this are your father, so build,
Your protection in its lasting shadow,
٩. أَسْمَاءُ هَذَا أَبُوكِ فَابْنِي
حِمَاكِ فِي ظِلِّهِ الْمَدِيدِ
10. And in the care of the best mother,
Flowing from her wise opinion.
١٠. وَفِي عِنَايَاتِ خَيْرِ أُمٍّ
يَصْدِرُ عَنْ رَأْيِهَا الرَّشِيدِ
11. It is as if she depicted an ideal,
Of righteousness with spouse and child,
١١. كَأَنَّهَا صَوَّرَتْ مِثَالاً
لِلْبِرِّ بِالزَّوْجِ وَالْوَلِيدِ
12. If the chastest of the passionate,
Emulate her, they emulate from afar.
١٢. إِنْ تَتَشَبَّهْ أَوْفَى الْغَوَانِي
بِهَا تَشَبَّهْن مِنْ بَعِيدِ
13. You have depicted in perfection, a depiction,
Upon which the inevitable flowed,
١٣. تَرَسَّمْتِ فِي الْكَمَالِ رَسْماً
جَرَتْ عَلَيْهِ بِلاَ مُحِيدِ
14. And you walked a path,
In that praised methodology.
١٤. وَسِرْتِ سَيْراً عَدَاهُ ذَامٍ
فِي ذلِكَ الْمَنْهَجِ الْحَمِيدِ
15. The two brides did not cease to be,
In joys upon joys,
١٥. آلَ الْعَرُوسَيْنِ لاَ بَرِحْتُمْ
مِنَ الْمَسَرَّاتِ فِي مَزِيدِ
16. To the repentance of time, what beauty,
Today is an Eid, and what an Eid!
١٦. لِتَوْبَةِ الْدَّهْرِ أِيِّ حُسْنٍ
فَالْيوْمُ عِيدٌ وَأَيُّ عِيدِ
17. Good fortune has contracted in it a contract,
It prides over contracts,
١٧. قَد عَقَدَ الْيُمْنُ فِيهِ عِقْداً
لَهُ فَخارٌ عَلى الْعُقُودِ
18. It's not little that you witness it,
And glory is among the witnesses.
١٨. غَيْرُ قَلِيلِ أَنْ تَشهَدُوهُ
وَالْمَجْدُ فِيهِ مِنَ الشُّهُودِ
19. Asma is uniquely peerless,
Among the youthful gazelles,
١٩. أَسْمَاءُ فِي الْخَرْدِ الْغَوَالِي
فَرِيدَةُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْفَرِيدِ
20. Those intelligent ones in their adornment,
Are of any type of flowers.
٢٠. تِلْكَ الذَّكِيَّاتُ فِي حَلاَهَا
مِنْ أَيِّ نَوْعٍ مِنَ الْوُرُودِ
21. A description of a people or a good attribution,
Refuses to describe their chastity,
٢١. يَأْبَى عَلَى الْعَفَافِ مِنْهَا
وَصْفُ قَوَمٍ أَوْ نَعْتُ جِيدِ
22. As for the meanings through them, they transcend,
The meanings of the eminent poet.
٢٢. أَمَّا الْمَعَانِي بِهَا فَتَسْمُو
مَعَانِيَ الشَّاعِرِ الْمُجِيدِ
23. She was led to a wise and judicious groom,
Unique in his generation,
٢٣. زُفَّتْ إِلَى نَابِهٍ حَصِيفٍ
فِي جِيلِهِ فَاقِدِ النَّدِيدِ
24. A gentle, kind man as he was called,
Without deceit or desire.
٢٤. فَتىً وَدِيعٌ كَمَا دَعَوْهُ
غَيْرَ مُرِيبٍ وَلاَ مُرِيدِ
25. Delicate, handsome, overpowering with might,
The strength of steel has submitted to him,
٢٥. رَقِيقُ حُسْنٍ يَسْطُو بِبَأْسٍ
دَانَتْ لَهُ قُوَّةُ الْحَدِيدِ
26. With the eye of a child and the mind of an elder,
What did his presence do to the gentle heart!
٢٦. بِعَينِ طِفْلٍ وَعَقْلِ كَهْلٍ
مَا فِعْلُهُ فِي فُؤَادِ رَوْدِ
27. O you two who have taken a covenant,
God has sanctified it among covenants,
٢٧. يَا أَيُّهَا الآخِذَانِ عَهْداً
قَدَّسَهُ اللهُ فِي الْعُهُودِ
28. That which the sublime has permitted,
Between the praises and the hymns.
٢٨. تِلْكَ السَّلافُ الَّتِي أَحَلَّتْ
بَيْنَ التَّسَابِيحِ وَالنَّشِيدِ
29. A symbol of an intimacy that was allowed,
For love from the abundant eternity,
٢٩. رَمْزٌ إِلَى خُلْسَةٍ أُبِيحَتْ
لِلْحُبِّ مِنْ كَوْثَرِ الْخُلُودِ
30. The self attains it thirsty,
From wishes and promises.
٣٠. تَصِيبُهَا النَّفْسُ وَهْيَ ظَمْأَى
مِنَ الأَمَانِي وَالْوُعُودِ
31. They both returned the serenity of passion,
And tasted the pleasantness of its happy life,
٣١. رَدَّا صَفَاءَ الْهَوَى وَذَوَّقَا
مَا طَابَ مِنْ عَيْشِهِ الرَّغِيدِ
