8. In every meaning of supreme meanings,
Through it, the right hand of Yemen marched to war.

9. To regain its former glory,

10. I accompanied my brother from Egypt,
As a protector, and protector of the noblest companion,

11. Until we performed the pilgrimage there, so gentle was
What we encountered there of reward for exertion,

12. A garden of Eden appeared to us with
Pleasure, cheer, and healing for the troubled.

13. The singing bird in its meadows,
We silenced for a time, so extreme was the rapture.

14. If you want more, then at another time,
Each of you will hear from it what you love.

15. O masters, their excellence elevated me,
To their peak and my place poured forth.

16. You have honored me by my affiliation
To your academy, O finest affiliation!

17. May God enable me to serve,
Fulfilling the rightful duty.

18. You have appointed me among you to a position,
Which in my eyes, surpasses all positions.
