١. مَضَيْتِ وَكُنْتِ دُنْيَاكِ رُوحاً
مُعَذَّبَةً وَمَوْطِنُهَا السَّماءُ
2. You were to me a sister in affection
Sacred was that fraternity
٢. وَكُنْتِ مِنَ الودَادِ مَكَانَ أُخْتي
وَكَانَ مُقَدَّساً ذَاكَ الإِخَاءُ
3. We console your noble children
They are to our hearts consolation for you
٣. نُعَزِّي عَنْكِ أَبْنَاءً كِرَاماً
وَهُمْ لِقُلُوبِنَا عُنْكِ الْعَزَاءُ
