True faith in the Provider, the Eternal

9. And magnanimity, aloof from suspicion’s
Range, transcending profligacy

10. O most gentle of heart and open of hand
With prayers and blessings among mortals

11. How many tongues praise you, how many hearts
Paint your image on their tablets

12. This is a gathering held to acknowledge
Merit, not staged for showmanship

13. In a place where the hand of righteousness
Reveals God's mercy for the weak

14. God bless the stars of medicine
Their status in it is no mere craft

15. They composed it, nothing novel in the verse
With the Emir of Endowment at the helm

16. Youngest in knowledge and art of the two noble streams
Both fresh and sweet water springs

17. O Minister of Endowments, who could be more deserving
To hold the post of Endowments Minister

18. Than one who lived bestowing in every state
Sustenance to the needy and helpless

19. And sought his door before the greedy arrived
At it, or the indifferent and aloof

20. He is the judge of rights, at times with benevolence
At other times with equity
