1. O youth among youths, you have excelled in ordeal
And attained hope in competition

2. And shown the West what power lies in the East
Whenever it wills to display

3. So it befits you to be rewarded as
The heroes were rewarded in olden times

4. Egypt has always been a protector
Of the sincere, faithful guardians

5. Of a youth who, whenever duty calls them
Rush to answer its call at once

6. They do not stint their efforts
Nor did they once stint their blood

7. And they have in defending their homelands
The stands of the steadfast, valiant ones

8. The deaths before them did not make them forget
Defending truth with resolve and refusal

9. They proved that if well-trained
They are most excellent in training, the strongest

10. In sports they have their distinction
So when they are proud they are no pretenders

11. No teams gained any advantage over them
They overcame the choirs of foreigners

12. And they have what all creation witnessed in them
Of intelligence, steadfastness and zeal

13. It is no wonder for them to celebrate
What honored them, best celebration

14. For the champion whose name was increased
By precious victory, in nobility and esteem

15. And in all fields of sublimity, Egypt hails
The eminent in each one of them

16. O you who bears burdens under which
Every strong-armed hero arms would break

17. Would that I had of the bounty you were given
An ambition that bears the burdens of eternity

18. May the Lord of the Throne at the highest summit
Firmly established, fluttering the banner, live forever

19. Lineages seek repute from Him, a lineage
Bound in allegiance to a nation of might
