1. O wisdom, what is your view of Egypt, exalted,

١. يَا هُدَى رَأيُكِ فِي مِصْرَ عَلاَ
وَغَدَا الرَّأيُ الأَثِيرُ الشَّائِعَا
2. The capital of the kingdom has flourished, and
They have named a street after you in it.
٢. زَهِيَتْ حَاضِرَةُ الْمُلْكِ وَقَدْ
وَسَمُوا بِاسْمِكِ فِيهَا شَارِعَا
