To raise the banners of Arab nobility

4. O Mustafa, may the Bountiful God increase you
With more adornment to reveal the gifts He has granted

5. This is another sign from Him renewed
It graced you with inherited lineage and merit

6. O you whom the emirate of ancestry nurtured
So you brought it prestige through the emirate of merit

7. And you took the highest station
Lofty above titles and ranks

8. Through the hardships of journeys conveying
The burdens of journeys and books

9. Your slightest deed cannot be matched
By the finest ode or the most eloquent speech

10. O you who severed worldly pursuits and connected
Yourself to serving God, is there any cause after devotion?

11. He who elevates his faith and certainty
Has no fear of life or dangers or ranks

12. O Saad, you were the shepherd of the Ta’ifah
Yesterday their son, and today their father

13. A father, but in the highest sense of the word
It would be no wonder if they called you Their Emissary

14. You made it sublime with deeds that immortalized its worth
So it made you sublime, the prize of the elite

15. Rejoice in your ideal course, live long, and benefit
People with your knowledge, that pride and merit

16. Thus should the leader of the faith be, a guiding light
For all people, as meteors blaze around him

17. Daughter of Nicolas the Redeemed
She came to Naabah, so gentle

18. And the daughter of the Beloved was wed
What could it be but our Beloved son?

19. The finest match that ever was
A literary lady in the care of a man of letters

20. Each has succeeded and gained
What they wished for in destiny

21. So may they enjoy life and prolong
Their days in bounty and delight
