1. The Almighty has healed your heart by bringing you relief
And dispelled the doubts that troubled you

2. Arise, O perfection of faith, destiny exalts you
And you are honored and extolled

3. Your greatness astounds, it is indeed magnificent

The Grace of the Almighty sustains you

5. In medicine there are signs that show the favor of Him
Who erases and confirms by His Might

7. If your distant goals are postponed
Revenue and expenses continue unabated

8. Your affairs are safe and as long as their management
Benefits the protectorate and brings pride

9. How many glories of yours intercede
Through your recovery, their traces manifest

10. A generosity like your father’s, undisclosed, how many
Sanctuaries were veiled from it by curtains

11. Through it lines stood firm in adversity
And homesteads escaped utter destruction

12. Today, these souls bloom
With good news, as flowers bloom

With no guiding lamps for its wanderers

24. Knowledge has a suspected treasure there
Impassable wastes hid it from view

25. Of manuscripts left by searching scholars
Time has obscured some and ruined others

26. You march to seek them wherever they scattered
When narrators erred and news confused

27. Until you found them, your heart divinely inspired
Revealing to it secrets and mysteries

28. Yesterday you marched into desolate plains
With no pasture or wells

29. Seeking to unravel the mystery of the wilderness
And what the dunes and valleys hide

30. Advancing, opener of strongholds, with your dauntless army
Of those knowledgeable in science and art

31. There were chasms with no end in sight
Mazes with secrets encoded in lines

32. While your little satchel contains riches
Next to which treasures pale

33. A journey to knowledge more insightful
Than any journey before

34. You exhausted yourself preparing it
That dinars forgot their worth

35. Yesterday you traveled the far horizons
East and west, travels taking you afar

36. Almost no hidden thing escapes you
Be it near or remote lands

37. Like the wandering star you observe them
While your brother is the wandering star

38. Amazingly you return unharmed though they did not
Spare you, seas that ships sailed

39. When you come home safe and sound
The house does not ward off feared misfortunes

40. A puzzle for mankind never comprehended
As time argues with them over it

41. But whatever it may be, fate’s caprice
Cannot turn you back in caution

42. You lived frivolously tempting fate
And rejoiced as perils loomed

43. In your glory you almost disdained
Any worldly station as insufficient

44. The crown after your father you willingly
Chose for the one most deserving

45. It is Egypt's crown and the kingdom of its Pharaoh
Under which rivers flow in prosperity

46. Its unmatched brilliance refuses comparison
As if the radiance of the sun inhabits it

47. If a noble soul aspires for greatness
Then no limit or measure impedes it

48. You witnessed in this era its ascension
To glories beyond all eras

49. Without doubt it must be bound by firm covenant
As feet stumble and staffs confuse

50. Does not the lion roar when hurt by harm?
Yet you are calm, stirring not, or snarling

51. Had it been another, what you endured
Would not have stopped tears flooding

52. But you remained, submitting to your Lord's decree
Recognizing the victor is the patient one

53. My Master, your recovery brought ample favor
Lands gained through it many boons

54. So if good fortune embraces Egypt
The like of it embraces all lands

55. Enjoy the renewal of wellbeing, let not
The passage of your time after it be in vain
