And Zahleh is my homeland, with her people's consent.

I am no less infatuated though I hide my ferment.

3. In Zahleh lies a pact of my youth and passion,
In Zahleh dwells my family, in Zahleh lies my rest.

4. Her wondrous valley brings joy, its every aspect a delight,
No shortage of pleasures for the eye and ear manifest.

5. Drink from her running waters and listen
To their murmuring in melodious gusts.

6. It fills the living's chest with wellness untrammeled,
No aridity nor bitterness does it adjust.

7. Zahleh's sons are lions, gallant knights,
In her and wherever else they dwelled and housed.
