1. The gardens have shown their beauty prematurely
To greet Egypt in the most splendid festival
١. أَبْدَتْ بَوَاكِيرُ الجِنَانِ
زِينَاتِهَا قَبْلَ الأَوَانِ
2. Revealing affection for it
Whose multiples have wound the branches
٢. تُهْدِي تَحِيَّةَ مِصْرَ فِي
أَبْهَى وَأَزْهَى مِهْرَجَانِ
3. The stars of amicability have emerged in the sky's expanse
Making the signs of the Lord before you the most eloquent translator
٣. وَتُبِينُ عَنْ وُدٍّ لَهُ
أَضْعَافُهُ طَيَّ الجَنَانِ
4. Welcome, crown of religion and the world and era's icon
Welcome, rarity of rhetoric, meanings and eloquence
٤. شِيَمُ الْكِنَانَةِ فِي السَّمَا
حَةِ قَدْ بَرَزْنَ مِنِ اكْتِنَانِ
5. The most loyal supporter if truth calls, and the most sufficient helper
And speech through which the dear sheds light on the distant meanings
٥. وَجَعَلْنَ آيَاتِ الرَّبِي
عِ لَدَيْكَ أَفْصَحَ تَرْجُمَانِ
6. And combining guidance of instinct and refinement of the tongue
This trustee, unmatched in sending the East
٦. أَهْلاً بِتَاجِ الدِّينِ وَالدُّ
نْيَا وَعُنْوَانِ الزَّمَانِ
7. Has come from the most precious place to the highest position
From the landing place of revelation nearer than the blazing Hira
٧. أَهْلاً بِنَادِرَةِ الْبَلا
غَةِ وَالمَعَانِي وَالبَيانِ
8. He came to the country which knows its high minarets
The country of immortal relics though all in the universe is ephemeral
٨. أَوْفَى مُلَبٍّ إِنْ دَعَا
حَقٌّ وَأَكْفَى مُسْتَعَانِ
9. Of what Pharaoh built with foundations but exhausted every builder
With good fortune, my Master, your precious arrival and safety
٩. وَالقَوْلِ شَفَّ بِهِ الْقَرِي
بُ عَنِ الْبَعِيدِ مِنَ المَعَانِي
10. Where you have settled in this lofty-ranked country
With the feast and wonderful guest, happy are all in splendid Egypt
١٠. وَالجَمْعُ بَيْنَ هُدَى الْيَرَا
عِ وَبَيْنَ تَهْذِيبِ اللِّسَانِ
11. The beauty of youth wearing the finest manners, the purest silks
Welcome the most esteemed one raised in the great house generously
١١. هَذَا الأَمِينُ وَغَيْرُ بَعْ
ثِ الشَّرْقِ لَيْسَ لَهُ أَمَانِي
12. The house of glories, prides and piety at every moment
Welcome the one with longest forbearance, who has no equal
١٢. قَدْ حَلَّ مِنْ أَغْلَى مَكَا
نٍ فِي ذُرَى أَعْلَى مَكَانِ
13. Takes leadership without fear in tribulations or hesitation
Complete in both traits of arranging affairs and distinction
١٣. مِنْ مَهْبِطٍ لِلْوَحْيِ أَدْ
نَى مِنْ ثَرَاهُ النَّيِّرَانِ
14. None can be found like him in the East, neither judge nor scholar
Talk of opinions which the Yemeni spear points to
١٤. وَافَى إِلَى الْبَلَدِ الَّذِي
يَدْرِي عُلاهُ الْخَافِقَانِ
15. And nature on which firm principles that build life stand
١٥. بَلَدِ الْبَقَايَا الخَالِدَا
تِ وَكُلُّ مَا فِي الْكَوْنِ فَانِي
١٦. مِمَّا بَنَى فِرْعَونُ مِنْ
قِدَمٍ فَأَعْجَزَ كُلَّ بَانِي
١٧. فِي الْيُمْنِ يَا مَوْلايَ مَقْ
دَمُكَ الْعَزِيزُ وَفِي الأَمَانِ
١٨. أُحْلُلْ بِحَيْثُ حَلَلْتَ مِنْ
هَذِي الْبِلادِ رَفِيعَ شَانِ
١٩. بِالعِيدِ وَالضَّيْفِ المَجِي
دِ جَمِيعُ مَنْ فِي مَصْرَ هَانِي
٢٠. زَيْنُ الشَّبَابِ المُلْبِسُ الْ
آدَابِ أَنْقَى طَيلَسَانِ
٢١. أَهْلاً بِأَنْجَبِ مَنْ نَمَى الْ
بَيْتُ الْعَظِيمُ بِلا امْتِنَانِ
٢٢. بَيْتُ المَآثِرِ وَالمَفَا
خِرِ وَالتُّقَى فِي كُلِّ آنِ
٢٣. أَهْلاً بِذِي الطَّوْلِ الَّذِي
فِي الْحِلْمِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مُدَانِي
٢٤. وَلِيَ الزَّعَامَةَ غَيْرَ وَا
هٍ فِي الْخُطُوبِ وَغَيْرَ وَانِي
٢٥. مُتَكَامِلَ الْوَصْفَيْنِ تَصْ
رِيفِ الأُمُورِ وَالاِفْتِنَانِ
٢٦. هَيْهَاتَ يُلْفَى مِثْلُهُ
فِي الشَّرْقِ مِنْ قَاصٍ وَدَانِي
٢٧. حَدِّثْ عَنِ الآرَاءِ يَنْ
بُو دُونَهَا النَّصْلُ الْيَمَانِي
٢٨. وَالخُلْقِ أَثْبَتَ مَا تَقُو
مُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الأُسِّ المَبَانِي
