1. Return wearing the robe of eternity, and teach
Through the silent mouth of example, the articulate speaker

2. Cast back a lofty lesson, renewed
In the awe of the advancing one

3. Marvel at your image, forms of semblance upon
A face of the most perfect semblance embodied

4. Which floats upon what was divided of its traits
A trace seen of your agonized soul

5. Or through it is glimpsed a graying that was not
Except the ashes of the flaming mind

6. This is your shining memorial, and these
Are the burning prohibitions in the melting of the greatest

7. The kindness of your smiling mouth has consumed their livers
Out of mercy for the foremost and the last

8. You, liberator of eloquent classical Arabic
Whom you saved from impurities of lexicon

9. Your known glory is but the glory of it
In the heart of the wise one of understanding

10. Did any of her sons defend the mother of languages
Like your defense, O noble and decisive one?

11. Or did anyone but you refine it
To pure whiteness of the enamored heart?

12. The bereaved one - nothing misses him before death
Except the endeavor to reach death, O bereaved one

13. You remained vigilant in researching its books
Undertaking every hardship like all who undertake hardship

If an opinion was misguided, you were the best corrector

15. Or if a rule was deviated, you were the best straightener
In prose or in verse, your composition is solid

16. Above conjectures, so no increase for the solid
Until a nation you honored decreed to you

17. Alive and dead, the supreme rank
O you who inclined and straightened seeking

18. The rising of existence from the most wondrous place
Leave a repose none who tasted it

19. Desires to return to the pain of the hurting life
And answer the call of the DAD, it will complete for you

20. Some of your sublime rhetoric that you cut short, so perfect it
For the DAD there is an age of abundance heralded

21. If scattered powers unite and organize
So arise and tell us the right, and say to us

22. A saying that gives insight to the blind of the consequences
Say, O my fellow tribesmen, return to guidance

23. Lest your unity disperse, and to how much
If all people returned to the true path

24. In religious brotherhood, every turbaned and veiled one
Whatever they wanted in religion, but in pilgrimage

25. No Christian and no Muslim
A language that wants cooperation from its people

26. While victory is for the assailant
What is wrong with it and its stagnation is killing it

27. It died by every discourager and divider
Languages live and rise by evolving

28. Forever by the rule of necessary success
Farfetched for time to stand still for one who stood still

29. Or the world to withdraw for an authoritative withdrawer
The slowest message nowadays

30. Is his who entrusted its urgency to an eagle’s feather
Load your orbits the space, sparks will deliver it

31. To the furthest destination, O determined one
For the sky spinning at the poles is constant

32. And lightning is the fastest you see, swift
We languished in the shackle of shortcomings, while others

33. Ruled nature’s kingdom, the kingdom of the Most Capable Ordainer
The wise one spoke truly, though his words

34. Appeared ugly to perception than blood
Do you not know that he is a speaker

35. With the tongue of innate nature, speaking?
O my nation, all guidance is in

36. That distant compelling voice
The unseen addressed us in the speech of our imam
