1. My master, may the Merciful support you in blessings,
And in praise of reverence and greatness,

2. A woman pleading to God sincerely
Calls upon you, and those who call upon you are never disappointed,

3. That He may strengthen you as long as time endures, and that
He may strengthen Egypt through its shepherd over all other nations,

4. I am a grieving woman who has lost her child,
Yet my child is not dead, but imprisoned on false charges,

5. So act as Jesus did, and revive the dead to bring back
A mother on the verge of perishing from agony,

6. And save a husband whose weakness has melted his determination,
And their abundant children from nothingness and nonexistence,

7. By pardoning him, as his whole sentence
Nears completion with nothing left but a word from your mouth.
