its fragrance has spread in the East and diffused
١. هَذِهِ تُحْفَةُ الرِّيَاضِ إِلى مَنْ
فَاحَ فِي الشَّرْقِ طِيبُهَا وَتَأرَّجْ
2. It is amidst beauty a flower of companionship
Its beauty is veiled in shyness like violets
٢. هِيَ بَيْنَ الْحِسَانِ زَهْرَةُ أُنْسٍ
حُسْنُهَا بِالْحَيَاءِ مِنْهَا مُسَيَّجْ
3. And wondrous is the union in it
Of the majesty of the rose and the humility of the violet
٣. وَعَجِيبٌ جَمْعُ المُهَيْمِنِ فِيهَا
عِزَّةَ الوَرْدِ وَاتِّضَاعَ الْبَنَفْسَجْ
