1. The prince returned with his hunt
His gift invited my praise
١. جَادَ الأَمِيرُ بِصَيدِهِ
فَدَعَتْ هَدِيَّتهُ ثنَائِي
2. "You gentle doves, so tame and true
Have taught me faithfulness anew."
٢. يَا طِيبَهُنَّ حَمَائِمَاً
عَلَّمَتْنِي حُسْنَ الوَفَاءِ
3. In the garden I gave them rest
And they filled my head with song.
٣. آوَيتُهُنَّ إلى الحَشَا
فَمَلأْنَ رَأْسِي بِالغِنَاءِ
