1. Blessings upon your graceful creation,
O most Christ-like in appearance,

2. With an intellect whose brilliance
Radiates across your radiant face.

3. With perfect, sincere traits,
And with modesty without pretense,

4. Guarding the proper principle.
You act justly, but what justice

5. Could return from its eloquent opponent?
The attainments of an honorable soul

6. Are boundless in your vast arena.
With delusions the deceived

7. Stumbles if he envies the sincere.
Your effective preaching brings healing

8. From wounds and lesions.
In it the body finds bodily cure,

9. In it the soul finds cure of spirit.
My master, this is true speech,

10. Nothing of flattery within it.
O joy of a people you lead,

11. With the guidance of the healing guide.
Twenty five years you stood among them

12. By their command, without rest.
Executing thought of fortitude and resolve,

13. Not complacent nor impetuous.
Yours is the everlasting house which you build

14. As a fortress for righteousness.
If not for necessity, you would not wear

15. Cloaks that are seen in mosques.
You take the fair in what you seek

16. And forbid the ugly.
You forgive the sinner in emulation

17. Of your Lord, the Pardoning, Forbearing.
You are not inclined to excuse

18. Any word or deed shameful.
And advice, the more it is accepted,

19. Is as truth from a sincere advisor.
You never cease in occurrences

20. To mend a rift or stem unwanted change.
A heart aspiring to eternity

21. With a pure, ambitious gaze,
Or a writing pen and a voice

22. Repeating what is revealed to you.
We have not seen it deaf,

23. Nor are its eyelids impaired.
Wisest, most eloquent ink,

24. Congratulations to the towering minaret.
And pray for its permanence until

25. The sacred conquests are completed.
Not many, if a pole lived so long,

26. Would have virtues for lifetimes of Noah.
So which era and which land

27. Has his equal? None are stingy.
