1. The sons of Zubayr have attained glorious deeds,
In generosity and unparalleled munificence.

2. So to the descendants of Zubayr, by their merit,
Excellent are the descendants in trying times for us.

3. They are the disciples, to whom were apportioned
Indeed claims and efforts are apportioned.

4. The benefactors whose time of benefaction comes,
And the ambitious whose hands when fed.

5. The pursuers whose greed the descendants curbed,
And the providers where is the provision.

6. The preventers from digesting their neighbor
And the carriers when the clan is fined.

7. Generosity prevails among them, and among them are aid
And merit in discourse and appointed time.

8. And if you cut them off you cut off stakes
And the judges of lawsuits in what they arbitrate.
