1. The dawn of happiness has shone from the sun of Al Saud
And the light of joy has appeared for the moons

2. The soft breezes drew near when
The auspicious, blessed spring approached

3. A month that transcends being fulfilled in its decree
And its words are most eloquent in their purity

4. A month in which the Prophet Muhammad was born
Thus its status amongst months is lofty and eminent

5. So be comfortable in its fresh meadows
For its beauty summons the visitors readily

6. And trail the hems of the gown of the secret
Upon which your pure ribs are folded

7. And be sated from it for it has often sated
The inclinations of the grieving heart

8. Connect the acts of worship to the twelfth of it
While your state is sighing and tears

9. And beseech your Lord for pardon and let
Your stance in it be humility and submission

10. And make the most of it, binding with the night
That did not pass without bidding farewell

11. To God belong the rising of blessed births with its rise
For the happy ones, safety from tremors

12. To God belongs the time when its lights shone
With the year of a Prophet interceding for sins

13. O You who has the noble creation and who has
The Howdh and the elevated Throne

14. Signs of glory have risen with its crescents
Bringing honor and might not easy to attain
