You would pity the most pitiful and my humility.

5. Indeed, destiny has wronged me with its tyranny,
The tyranny of destiny stokes the flames in my ribs.

6. How strange you call me, oh destiny, and I answer,
Why did I not disobey and cease to comply?

7. I sent my tears to destiny pleading
That it may accept the intercession of an advocate.

8. If your heart the day they left at dawn
Was a rock, it would melt from the gentleness of farewell.

9. I did not expect that separation would exist between us,
No, I was not aware it would occur.

10. Until the day I bid them farewell at dawn,
My heart was struck by an arrow, painful to my soul.

11. The day they left, I almost perished from sorrow,
If not for hoping they would return.

12. Oh Lord, bring their return closer,
To complete easing and good favor.

13. And grant your Caliph, the chosen one,
What he desires of the sinner and compliant.

14. And give him victory, support him, and decree for his party
An enduring glory that cannot be attained forcefully.
