1. Please, a weak servant has come to you,
For you have promised to be kind to the weak,

2. I am accustomed to your faithfulness and loyalty,
Is to grant what your hopeful servant requests,

3. With you I take refuge from estrangement and its diversion,
So when will I see the intention's diversion go away?

4. Far be it from you that the hopeful becomes disappointed,
And that he has long stood at your door of generosity,

5. O full moon of my hopes and sun of its rays,
Do not follow the eclipse of hope with more eclipses,

6. The cups after you intoxicated the intent of my soul,
It kept bleeding and does not stop bleeding,

7. So when the light of your kindness appears again,
It wakes up sober and extends to it hope bowed down,

8. Estrangement has sworn standing at your door,
Yet you are more generous than one who protects a sworn ally,

9. Who do I have but you, and you have not ceased, O my reliance,
To be kind to me in difficult matters,

10. Your abundant favours multiply in number,
So you braided my mind with them,

11. O One, Eternal, Everlasting, who
Is known to forgive our lapses,

12. You have great kindness towards Your servants, too great to
Be limited or described,

13. And so I extended the hand of supplication hoping,
And on you my hopes for tomorrow depend,

14. And I made Ahmad my intercessor, so for his right,
O my hope, be kind and gracious to me,

15. To him from my distant lands regards,
Which its springtime made known and clear.
