1. Urge the riders towards the intercessor, for the garden of youth has withered,
And the branch of strength has bent over.

2. Rise up towards those landmarks, with the intention
That through them you will be healed of the wounds of separation.

3. Or have you not heard the doves in the sanctuary of life
Sing in tunes of distance and purpose?

4. Calling out against the arts of annihilation, warning
That your hearing is deaf to what is in your heart of passion.

5. Wondrous is a heart that still remains fearful
Each day of separation, though I have not been wary,

6. Each day I have lost loved ones, though I never intended
To disappoint those I held dear.

7. Oh woe to my burning soul, grieving
In the depths of a sea of longing's passion thrown.

8. Thirsty, though its tears have watered the soil
With sorrow for the distant home, and it was not sated.

9. It folds the ribs in sadness and misery
While the tears of the eyes unfold what was folded.

10. It hopes and longs though calamities prevent
So the long nights have twisted its faith.

11. How it wished to be blessed with visiting the abode
Of glory and greatness where it once nested.

12. But tribulations turned it away from its goal and desire
Burning it with separation that seared.
