1. When the praises of the glory of Muhammad are remembered
The fragrance of musk and moist ambergris spreads

2. And when the verses of the pride of his eminence are recited
The birds in the abode of yearning and passion cry out

3. For the mention of the majesty of the Hashimi, Muhammad
The hearts of lovers lean and bend

4. And every lover, when the remembrance of his love flows
Inclines as the swaying, bending palm tree sways

5. And upon it then appear tokens
And every vessel exudes what is within it

6. When the fire of love lies hidden in the heart
Its embers are kindled by remembrance

7. Come now, profess your devotion and affection for him
One who does not show fervor cannot be called a lover

8. And stand in humility at the mention of the Prophet
For pebbles in his palm have come to glorify

9. When the praises of the pride of the best of creation are recalled
I see every soul showing humility in service

10. So how about the mention of one whose sea of pride
Has made every eminent one continue to swim?

11. The banner of praise was planted in glory’s enclosure
And every prophet remains beneath it, unmoving

12. He captivated mankind, jinn, and angels with his love
And so every one of them has an ardent desire for him

13. Welcome then to a people, if the mention of Ahmad flows
You will see them, when hearing it, yearning

14. So delight in the mention of the Hashimi, Muhammad
And roam the field of passion, and wander

15. For there is no life except with the beloved and his remembrance
And leave everyone who stubbornly resists the truth

16. Peace be upon him as long as the stars rotate
For his remembrance kindles a fire burning in hearts
