١. يا مَن لَهُ مَكرُماتٌ كُلُّها غُرَرٌ
قَد جَرَّ حاشِيَتَي لَألائِهِ السَحَرُ
2. And for the meadows are domes all of gold
Around them are balconies all of pearls
٢. وَلِلأَقاحي قِبابٌ كُلُّها ذَهَبٌ
مِن حَولِها شُرُفاتٌ كُلُّها دُرَرُ
3. So feast your eyes while they still stand
With their green courtyards and edifices
٣. فَمَتِّعِ الطَرفَ ما دامَت مُشَيَّدَةً
مِنها بِأَبنِيَةٍ ساحاتُها الخُضَرُ
4. Before the sun demolishes the finest of what
The rain sculpted for it during its night
٤. مِن قَبلِ تَهدِمُ مِنها الشَمسُ أَحسَنَ ما
أَمسى يُهَندِسُهُ في لَيلَهِ المَطَرُ
