1. And he reproached me, "If his saliva's trail
Wet my cup from his mouth," and greeted me his cheek.
١. وَشادِنً إِن سَقاني راحَ ريقَتِهِ
في الكَأسِ مِن فَمِهِ حَيّا بِخَدَّيهِ
2. Had beauty a face like other faces shown,
Its essence had appeared between his eyes.
٢. لَو كانَ لِلحُسنِ وَجهٌ كَالوُجوهِ يُرى
لَكانَ جَوهَرُهُ ما بَينَ عَينِهِ
