1. A fire broke out in a place I shall not name
And we have a fire with no blazing flames
١. وَقَعَ الحَريقُ بِمَوضِعٍ لَم أُسمِهِ
وَلَنا حَريقٌ غَيرَ ذي إِلهابِ
2. As if the flash of lightning was its smoke
Lightning that shone through the mist's billowy cloak
٢. فَكَأَنَّ لَمعَ البَرقَ دُخّانُهُ
بَرقٌ تَأَلَّقَ في مَثارِ ضَبابِ
