١. قَد كُنتُ عَذبَ الحَياةِ حَتّى
ناصَبَني دَهرِيَ العَداوَه
2. So if I now taste any life’s pleasure,
I find it less sweet than it used to be.
٢. فَصِرتُ إِن ذُقتَ طَعمَ عَيشٍ
وَجَدتُهُ ناقِصَ الحَلاوَه
