Save one whose pure water was muddied-
١. لَم يَصفُ عيسى بنُ مُرقُسٍ لِأَخٍ
إِلّا وَشابَ الصَفاءَ تَكديرُ
2. So may God not tend to one whose nature
Is a date, sweet without, and wasp within.
٢. فَلا رَعا اللَهُ مَن يَكونُ كَذا
أَخلاقَهُ تَمرَةٌ وَزَنبورُ
