1. The greenery has come forth with its stems
From rainfall and from volcanoes
١. قَد أَقبَلَ النَبتُ بِاَسماطِهِ
مِن مِمطَرٍ مِنهُ وَمِن بَرَّكان
2. And branches have uncovered narcissi
Intertwining camphor with saffron
٢. وَاِفتَرَّتِ الأَغصانُ عَن نَرجِسٍ
مُختَلِطِ الكافورِ بِالزَعفَران
3. So wrest the sun when it rises
The constellations make it rise from it
٣. فَاِستَلِبِ الشَمسَ إِذا ما غَدَت
تُطلِعُها مِنها بُروجُ الدِنان
4. And water has overflowed on our meadows
Making it like drink at festivals
٤. وَالماءُ قَد فاضَ عَلى رَوضِنا
فَصارَ كَالشَرابِ عَلى المِهرَجان
