The clouds lament and the meadows are delighted.

١. القُضبُ نَشوى وَالزَهرُ مَخمورُ
وَالسُحبُ عَبرى وَالرَوضُ مَسرورُ

2. Rise with us to greet a flower
Whose petals are scattered in the gardens scattered.

٢. فَقُم بِنا نُصطَبِح عَلى زَهرٍ
مَنثورُهُ في الرِياضِ مَنثورُ

3. For night has folded its musk and departed,
And the west is a call and the east is camphor.

٣. فَاللَيلُ قَد ضَمَّ مِسكَهُ وَمَضى
وَالغَربُ نَدٌّ وَالشَرقُ كافورُ
