1. A full moon rose carrying the sun of daybreak
As I left him with the cup in his hand
١. وَشادِنٍ طافَ بِمَشمولَةٍ
لَو ذاقَها سَكرانُ هَمٍّ صَحا
2. Had he who is drunk with worries tasted it
He would have circled an orchard
٢. فَخِلتُهُ وَالكَأسُ في كَفِّهِ
بَدرَ الدُجى تَحمِلُ شَمسَ الضُحى
