1. You were given supremacy and you were a leader
And the height of its hopes that it lasts

2. And it appointed you to the most generous qualities
Their guidance, and the generous imitates the generous

3. If exaltation from us increases your majesty
Since the Majestic you were august

4. For you above people a towering majesty
The fanciful bird around it will not hover

5. What the truth has manifested to you except
And tomorrow the envious clap and frown

6. So the wondrous wonder is that you are Moses
And we see those other than you were the Kalim

7. Extending with dew soft fingers whiteness
That has not become for a twinkling constricted

8. It is a form of generosity that produces habitually
And other than it has come barren form

9. O reliever of the envious their rage
With prohibition how much aberrant thinking you have healed

10. You are kindness but you embodied a person
So the immense from you became immense

11. How many years have you wiped a face with more tender
Than faces of the beautiful roe, eternal

12. Those are comforts, how much you have comforted us, and a palm
How much with it Allah has stopped worries from us

13. It taught us to choose and so we chose
From your sublime traits a peerless pearl

14. So for you is the merit if we compose poems
Since from you we present to you a strung necklace

15. May Allah protect His religion through you, O you
Who from every sin was infallible

16. I do not see the envious possess except what
If we counted it, was in it despicable

17. An eye downcast, and a hand withered,
A beast startled, and a nose dripping

18. You assumed leadership of an era
In which you barred the imam and the led in prayer

19. It presented through you one leader of the time, O you
Through whom the path of guidance became upright

20. It presented in you second of rain a palm
Third of the luminaries a face well-featured

21. It presented through you, O most guiding to Allah
A knowledgeable one, needless to say, knowledgeable

22. It presented, O most perceptive of ruling, a pulse
From you a healer of dilemmas, wise

23. We have seen through you the imams forbearance
And firm guidance, and overflowing merit

24. And we have transmitted in religion from you a hadith
We have not transmitted in religion from you old

25. Through them virtues of nobility emerged
In the sky of guidance, stars rose

26. It is at times guidance for a people
And for a people it is repelling stones

27. So reside in a loftiness you see every instant
A seat for the enemy therein remaining

28. Our affection was not just lip-service we professed
As the noble horse professes restiveness

29. Rather, we found you God's proof in us
So we followed your straight path

30. And for us today you in the earth a shadow
And tomorrow we seek shade in you, bliss
