5. Then indeed you have in you springs, but
They were made to flow by envious ones out of hatred

Saying "Be," so they became luminous

Their beauty manifests at daybreak and nightfall

Thus displaying exaltation over them

17. You were blessed with minarets erected
As pillars carrying the Tremendous and Sublime

It not been for their Holder, it would have collapsed

Your ancient envious enemies stumbling

23. He hoarded the treasures of success in buildings he showed us
Were his hidden treasures

24. And we saw his generosity so we cried out
Thus do the great kings give generously!

25. He clothed these palaces with joy
So he will be clothed with joy and enliven palaces

30. And speak of the excellence of Farhad, and see

31. An advisor in every matter, but
For other than the sword, he did not seek advice

32. In the heat of wars he grew up, and they were
The most apparent forests in which he grew

33. He was brought up among the commons, so he was a cloud
And was chosen among the elite, so he was pure

34. His gown was filled with knowledge, forbearance,
Firm wisdom, and abundant generosity

35. Do not assess the flow of his palm
And the dew of his palm that extends the seas

40. Today it falls short of him. It stopped
Short of a sea, no longer allowing crossing

Of his lofty court which amassed noble deeds

42. And he became spreading with it a palm of generosity
Which scattered the dead dew that was buried

43. And he called out, โ€œO highest hope, here are my fingers
So milk them for the pure milk of generosity!โ€

44. And their udders burst forth with copious milk
Not decreasing or running low

ู„ู… ูŠู„ุฏู† ุงู„ุฅู†ุณุงู† ุฅู„ุงู‘ูŽ ู‚ูŽุชูˆุฑุง

45. And leave others, for those are rivals
Who leave the bow in your hands broken

ูคูฅ. ุจูŽุซู‘ูŽ ุฃูƒุฑูˆู…ุฉู‹ ุชูุฑูŠูƒ ุงู„ู…ุนุงู„ูŠ
ุถุงุญูƒุงุช ุงู„ูˆุฌูˆุฏู ุชุฌู„ูˆ ุงู„ุซุบูˆุฑุง

46. And do not pressure the sinews, rather it is best
If you make the sinews pliant twigs

47. Saโ€™d brought joy to the ears of time with singing praise of you
Making whoever you wish hear it, even rocks

48. And turn to the town of nobles with your rhymes
Congratulating and giving good tidings

49. Say to it, โ€œYou did not cease to be a paradise of intimacy
In which people find bliss and blessingsโ€

50. We did not come under your protection except that we found
A blessed town and a Forgiving Lord

ุฐุง ุงู„ุจู†ุง ููŠู‡ู ูุงุบุชุฏู‰ ู…ู†ุดูˆุฑุง

51. And two Imams who save from the Fire
Whoever in them turns protection-seeking

ูฅูก. ู„ูƒ ููŠ ุฏูู‘ูŽุชูŠู‡ ุณุญุฑูŒ ูˆู„ูƒู†
ุฎุทู‘ูŽู‡ ู…ุฐ ุจูŽุฑู‰ ุงู„ุจู„ูŠุบูŽ ุฒุจูˆุฑุง

52. And a scholar who became a father to the children of knowledge
And honored through it a caring father

53. And a blossoming young man whose trails of piety
Shook off the world though it was tempting

54. How often we extended the steps of hands that showed us
The most helpless of people when they prepared a helper!

ู„ุณูˆู‰ ุงู„ุณูŠูู ู„ู… ูŠูƒู† ู…ูุณุชุดูŠุฑุง

55. And Muhammad al-Hasan folded them,
So his excellence remains renowned

57. You were blessed in people, land and air
How often we inhaled its camphor-like fragrance!

58. Al-Mahdi protected you from being blamed
And al-Mukhshi has spared you fears

59. And from security he extended over you a shade
And from pride he clothed you in splendor

60. Who competes with his loftiness, a great Shaykh
And tribes have submitted to his smallness?

61. We did not find a second to him who, in pride
Was worthy and in praise was suited
