1. O time, you still reveal a beautiful scene
Of a rising whose prosperity connected with auspiciousness

2. For Majid whose renown shone in al-Karkh
A sun that tears through its lights the darkness

3. The full moon seemed to it to look small
The generous world yielded to it utterly

4. And how often have I heard someone calling out generously
Have you heard other than him say “It is I”?

5. Muhammad, beautiful in character, his rest
A shining white, how often the brow of glory wore us

6. By the love of Ali and what he collected
Of excellence, his coats of mail, and what he guaranteed

7. Indeed, his glory clothed al-Zawra’ all over
With coats of pride in which Aden vied

8. O you who extends palms with its hanging fruits
So the sea and clouds are miserly

9. We weighed mankind and found them platforms for you
All together and found you anchors for them

10. And forbearance is born among you with you
O light burdens, if weighed you would be weighty

11. The house of your ascent still remains for mankind a sanctuary
Those whom time regarded highly and through whom we felt safe

12. You are jewels in the necklace of pride
The epochs continue to adorn themselves with your hands
